Pages, stories and essential services
This website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare hosting and database services. These services process requests and technical information, such as your network address, to deliver and protect the website. We use this information for our legitimate interests in running a reliable, secure service.
Podcast cover images are served by Aniballers. Recordings come from Acast when you choose to play a story; playback sends Acast a request including your network address and device information. Read Acast’s privacy information. Acast’s policy also describes listener measurement and advertising uses of this information. Google Analytics choices on this site do not control Acast’s processing. Spotify and other external links take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Website analytics
Google Analytics is disabled on this website. We do not load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, and we do not send website, listening or room activity to Google. Acast’s processing when you play a story is separate, as described above. If we introduce optional website analytics later, we will update this notice and ask for permission before enabling it.
Parent feedback and email updates
You can share ideas without providing an email address. We save the interests you select, your idea and submission time so we can review feedback and improve Aniballers. This supports our legitimate interest in developing the service.
If you separately choose email updates, we also save your adult email address, signup time and the version of the permission you gave. We store these details in our website database for manual review. Email updates have not started, and this form does not currently transfer your details to Beehiiv. We rely on your consent to send future updates. Email permission is separate from analytics permission. The form does not create a child profile or paid membership. To withdraw email permission or request deletion, email admin@aniballers.com.
Keeping the parent forms safe
We use a short-lived code derived from your network address to limit repeated form submissions. The code changes hourly. We do not save the raw address in this form-limit database. Counters expire after 24 hours and expired counters are removed when another valid form submission is processed. Hosting providers may separately retain request logs.
Information on this device
Room activities may remember progress and preferences in this browser. We remember your analytics choice for up to six months, after which we ask again. If public analytics are activated, analytics cookies are configured to expire after six months without extending their expiry on every visit. You can withdraw permission in Privacy settings; we stop collection and clear the analytics cookies accessible to this website.
Clearing browser storage removes local preferences, but does not delete feedback or email signup information already submitted.
How long information is kept
We keep feedback while it is needed to review suggestions and develop the service. We keep email signups while your permission remains current and we are preparing or providing the updates you requested. You can ask us to delete your feedback or withdraw email permission at any time using the address below. These records are managed manually; clearing your browser does not remove them. We may retain a minimal record of withdrawn email permission to avoid contacting you again.
Hosting providers manage technical logs and backups separately. The browser preference period described above is not a deletion period for server records or provider backups.
Your rights and questions
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use, or provide a portable copy where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email admin@aniballers.com.
